Ok, ok I know my blogging has really taken a back seat lately, am I am trying to think of something to blame it on and the only thing that comes to mind is Netflix. Jeff and I joined Netflix a few months ago and instead of being productive after Fisher goes to sleep we veg on the couch and watch movies. I am really going to try and find some more time in our hectic movie schedule to put up more posts. Here are some highlights from the last few months. Enjoy!

Jeff Junior, I mean Fisher was busy while I was in the shower. He loves to put on our shoes and walk around, and gets very frustrated when our flip flops don't stay on his tiny feet. On this day though, he had on Jeff's tennies and hat! He was very proud of himself and was happy to pose for the Paparazzi.

It was Marc's 31st birthday, Frances and Jeff came down to celebrate. We had a great upscale BBQ at the Van Hoose's. Entertainment was provided by Caitlyn 11months, Morgan 20months, and Fisher 20months. Boy has times changed! Morgan and Fisher are twins separated at birth, and Caitlyn is adorable so easy going and hug able!

Jeff and I had a much needed wild night out with a bunch of friends to go see DMB at Cricket. We hopped on a limo bus and acted like non-parents without a care in the world. Fisher was safe at Grammie and Grandpa's for the night. We still haven't figured out that the older we get the harder it is to recover from a night out, but it was all worth it!

Ok so blogging has not been my top priority, but we have been so busy, I can't really pinpoint what we have been doing but time just flies! We have had a great summer, lots of beach trips, not just with my family but with my work family too. I think this summer has been the most I have been to the beach since maybe high school days. I definitely was a little sad when the boys I work for went back to school. Summer is just a fun and carefree time, no schedules, homework or set bedtimes, just kind of an excuse to blow things off!

So back to school we go, and out come the pumpkin decorations at Vons, and we start to feel the cooler evenings, and we realize summer is over and Fall is on it's way
Here are some of our latest shots of Fisher, he had a great 18month checkup, still very high up on the size charts(surprised?). He is saying things like ball, bike, dog, kitty. He loves to play in the car, go on walks, stalk trash trucks in the neighborhood. He knows what he wants and makes it known when he is not happy! Terrible Twos are on their way, luckily he is still so darn cute that we forget very fast!

I can't believe it has been more than a month since our last post. Summer has been flying by! We are either at the pool or the beach most days. Fisher is crazy about the water, whether it be the shower, the pool or the ocean. He is fearless which both scares me and excites me. Everyday he gets a little older and everyday I say to anybody who will listen "I just love this age"! He will be 18months old August 3rd. He loves his books, his Coley dog, his kitty cat, cheese sticks, cheese puffs, singing, dancing, and smiling at anyone who gives him the time of day. He is starting to look a little more like Jeff, but luckily I think he has my skin! He continues to amaze Jeff and I, and like a broken record we feel like the luckiest family in the world! Jeff had a trip on Monday so we went down to Dana Landing to meet him for lunch and take Fisher on a little boat ride on the boat(El Jefe). Fisher loved being on the boat, although he was not so sure about the Life Jacket! He just wanted to cruise around the boat and touch everything. Before we know it he will be driving it!

Jenni, Maddie, Fisher and I went to the Zoo a couple Monday's ago and had so much fun. We went to the petting zoo, Flamingos, Giraffes and much more. We made sure to stop at the gift shop on the way out to pick up some goodies! Fisher was not as excited about the petting zoo as I thought he would be, maybe he is so used his animal (coley) breathing down his neck!

Grandpa and Grandma Avazian joined La Costa Resort and Spa, so lucky for us we get to use the amenities as guests! Jeff, Fisher and I, Steph, Mike and Corbin and Amber, Braden and Blake all headed to the pool last Sunday. It was a yucky day but we didn't let that slow us down. The kiddie pool, slides and splash area are amazing. The adults didn't mind the poolside beverages either. It really felt like a mini vacation!

I guess this is what happens when you are not paying attention. I was on the phone with Jeff looking for something for him upstairs in the file cabinet. When I came back down approx 3minutes later, Fisher was in his highchair, and I had not put him there! He moved the white stool over to the high chair and climbed in, luckily no one was hurt! oh and notice the whisk that was also his idea!

Fisher's cousin Blake spent the night last Thursday, since our loft is still under construction he slept in his new sleeping bag next to our bed. We started off our long weekend with a BBQ at the Stanton's. Now that Fisher is walking Brian and Jenni's house is a dream come true! A fountain, stairs, a long driveway to run down and pond, what more could a 15month old ask for. Jeff had charters Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. He was a trooper and still made all the events with a smile on. Sunday we went over to some family friends house in Leucadia, the Mitchell's. They have an awesome beach house right by Beacon's beach. All of their grand kids were there plus the Butt brothers. They made awesome hot dogs, and Fisher was in heaven again because they have a running creek and coy pond in there backyard, amazing!Monday we finally had a family day, Ricos, Naps and then off to the next party. First we stopped by the Van Hoose's BBQ, Jeff and Fisher took a quick swim while I manned the chips/salsa and beer table! Next we headed to my parents for a yummy dinner with friends and family- and then before we knew it the parties were over and it would soon be Tuesday!

Here are a few pictures of this past Monday, we goofed off most of the morning, then we deiced to take the coaster from Encinitas to Solana Beach to surprise Dad at work and take him to Happy Hour at our favorite spot the Beach House. It was Fisher's first train ride and I can tell we will be regular customers from now on.

Breakfast in bed, a new purse and margaritas at Las Olas, it doesn't get much better than that. I had a great Mother's Day thanks to My Boys! After Fisher's morning nap we headed up to Carlsbad to cruise around the shops and get some lunch at Las Olas. Jeff even let me knick knack shop, maybe it was the two margs prior! After we got home we rested up for our next fiesta over at The Mazone's. Jeff took good care us with chicken kabobs, roasted potatoes, and salad. I still can't believe this is my second Mother's Day, I really do feel appreciated and lucky- Thanks Jeff and Fish

Another Ear Infection, But Still Smiling!

Fisher has had a runny nose and bad cough for a week now, but as soon as he got a high fever we knew what that meant, another ear infection. This time he had a double ear infection. I have lost count of how many he has had, but he still manages to have smile on his face!

Jeff and I have been trying very hard to get our little muffin man to walk for a few months now. I know, I know everyone says you will be sorry when they start walking. But at this point I am over the holes in the jeans and shoes and we know he can do it. Of course there is the slight pressure of seeing other kids younger than him, already walking quite well. So anyways last Saturday I had a baby shower and Jeff had a trip, so Fisher spent the morning with the Stanton's. When I brought him home that afternoon Fisher just started walking on his own. It was pretty amazing to watch. He just looks so much older now when he is walking, almost overnight I feel like he has changed from a baby to a toddler. I still can't say he is a walker but he is getting there- No pressure Fisher! So here are a few clips- Oh Yeah and not sure why he holds his shorts but whatever works right?

Fisher's Cousin Blake had his third birthday April 11. We celebrated on a Monday morning at a park by Amber's house in San Elijo Hills. It was uncharacteristically hot for an April day in San Diego. The kid's cheeks were pink by the time we left!

We went to Uncle Larry and Aunt Kelsey's for a Easter Celebration. We decorated eggs, had an Easter egg hunt and had lunch. Where did my son want to be, climbing all the stairs of course!

Swim Lessons!

The month of April we started swim lessons at the YMCA. Jeff usually gets in the water on Tuesdays and then I get in on Thursdays. Fisher loves the water and smiles the whole 1/2 hour lesson. We sing songs, blow bubbles and go under the water a few times each lesson. He loves to watch his cousin Blake who does swim lessons in the same pool.

I had the pleasure of watching Braden and Blake one Saturday morning, it was a gorgeous day so we packed the suburban full of our gear and headed to Moonlight beach! Maddie and Jenni met us there (they will never pass up a beach date). By the time we got there we were only there for an hour but it was worth it!

First Buzz Cut! Once again I have let my blogging go, so now I have to pack 2months into one entry. Fisher has been growing like crazy, and everyday I feel like his personality gets more and more hilarious. He turned one February 3rd, had his first haircut, 5 days of a high fever, likes to open mouth kiss, and imitates us laughing. He is very close to walking and seems to be teething in the back of his mouth. He is still a pretty good eater, loves pinto beans (just like his mom), fruit, most veggies and turkey. Our little baby is 10 months old today! It is just amazing to watch him grow, and develop his own little personality. He had his wellness visit today, and is not off the charts anymore. His height 29inches is in the 60th percentile, weight 24pounds is in the 80th percentile. He is the picture of health our Pediatrician says, and Jeff and I just feel really lucky to have such a sweet little boy!

Jeff and I took Braden, Blake and Fisher to the Pumpkin Patch on Sunday. Cousin Corbin, Steph and Mike met us there too. The boys jumped in the jumpys forever while Fisher looked on in amazement. Fisher has been such a trooper, after 2 nights of waking up in the middle of the night I finally took him to the doc (of course it was a saturday and we had to go to Carmel Valley) and he did have a ear infection, and later that day I looked in his mouth I realized that his two front teeth were coming through! Poor little guy, but he is trying to be tough!

We have been trying to get to the beach on Sundays. It has been gorgeous so we have been taking advantage of the weather. Last Sunday Fisher and I were at the beach from 10-3 (Dad had to work). Our friends wedding reception was on Saturday. Brooke and Micah were married a few weeks before in a small ceremony in Santa Barbara. They had an awesome party for all of us to celebrate! Their new house is right in between our house and my parents house. So Fisher made a short appearance before being picked up by Grammie and Papa Loomis. My parents walked there, and took him to their house for his first sleepover!

Jeff has been so busy, which is great for business, not so great for sleep. He has had 5 trips in a row, which is up at 4:30am home around 5:30pm, and amazingly he still has time to be a Dad, husband, and manager of the Fly Shop. He was even a guest host on the radio show on Sunday. What a Jack of all Trades. I am so proud of him! He didn't even flinch when I took the picture! Luckily tomorrow he has the day off and gets a daddy day!

Preston's 5th birthday was on Friday June 27. It is so crazy to see the boy that I have been taking care of since birth holding my little boy! How time flies- Preston's party was great and he even held Fisher for a few seconds!

If you can get past my annoying nasally voice this video is pretty cute. Fisher loves his baths. He gets so excited when he gets out, and kicks his feet like a madman!

We finally got a new camera, Best Buy is awesome if anybody needs electronics! Here is the latest of Fish, he has found his feet which is adorable, I will try and get a pic of that next-

It may be a little while before we post new pictures, thanks to our dog coley and beach sand our camera seems to be broken. Hopefully by this weekend we can get it worked out!

Finally Jeff got one of Fisher's speeches on tape. He is mostly talking about the high gas prices, health care, going green and I think he may be a little upset about Phil falling apart at the open. Someone call Obama, he still needs a running mate! I think he just really likes to hear himself talk, wonder who he got that from?

Peas Please!

Fisher had his 4month checkup on Wednesday. He is 16pds 10oz (90th percentile) 27inches long(97 percentile). So his pediatrician said we could start with veggies. He seemed to really like the peas. I remember thinking when he was a newborn that I couldn't wait for him to get a little bigger, but now I just want him to slow down. I am really enjoying this age. He is so easily entertained, and he smiles more than he cries. Such a love bug!

Fisher's first full day at the beach. Jeff can't wait to teach Fisher how to surf, and fish and play baseball and golf. I hope Fisher likes sports! How cute are my boys!

Lazy Sunday Morning

I love Sundays because it is our family day and we usually lounge around in the morning and just enjoy being together. Jeff and I have such busy schedules so it is so nice to just sit around laugh and appreciate everything that we have!
